I had to fix a door frame where the wood had rotted from years of moisture. The bottom was soft and crumbling, so I cut out the damaged section with a oscillating tool, patched in a new piece of wood, and filled gaps with wood filler. After sanding it smooth, I primed and painted over it. The door now closes flush again without sticking.
